Software Engineer, Sr (Data Analysis) - GMD Weapons Systems (GWS) at Lockheed Martin. The selected Software Engineer responsibilities will include the support of the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the SPA team. This role is responsible for developing data analysis products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). What We Do
Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nations defense against ballistic missile attacks. The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat. Responsibilities
Develop data analysis products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability. Support the GWS program as an individual contributor on the SPA team in a fast-paced environment with significantly diverse assignments. Collaborate with teams comprised of all experience levels.
