3+ years experience
estimating heavy highway/civil projects (self-performed preferred) Strong background in
earthwork, asphalt, concrete paving, and civil structures Familiarity with
state DOT and municipal
requirements Proficiency with
BlueBeam, Agtek, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling software Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent field experience) Proven success in
negotiated and alternative delivery
(Design-Build, CM/GC, CMAR) What Youll Do
Lead the full bid process: from
scope review and takeoffs to pricing and proposal delivery Analyze job opportunities for fit and profitability Interpret project specs, drawings, and addenda with accuracy Leverage historical data, production rates, and supplier pricing for precision bidding Collaborate with PMs and field ops to align preconstruction with execution Develop strong,
repeat client relationships
