This will be hosted at Binz Refectory on the University of St. Thomas campus located at 2253 Goodrich Ave., St. Paul, on: Tuesday, 8/12/25 @12pm-2pm Wednesday, 8/20/25 @10am-12pm Tuesday, 8/26/25 @3pm-5pm Parking: You can park at Anderson Parking Ramp or there is ample street parking. Job Summary
The Runner is responsible for delivering food and beverage items from the kitchen to guests in suites and clubs. The runner should understand the menu content and ensure food is delivered in a timely fashion. The runner should follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and assist with area setup and breakdown. Responsibilities
Ensures all food and beverage is properly delivered and/or stored. Pick up food from the kitchen and deliver it to guests in suites and clubs. Be knowledgeable on all menu offerings. Follow setup and breakdown processes efficiently. Thoroughly complete all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided. Perform post-event product inventory and restock as needed. Understand all event paperwork and reports. Always exceed guest expectations. Adhere to location appearance guidelines. Act with a sense of urgency and professionalism. Maintain prep and service areas. Apply good safety and sanitation practices. Follow responsible alcohol service policies. Understand the importance of maintaining equipment. Help fellow employees when necessary. Stand for long periods and engage physically with guests. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations. Demonstrate physical stamina and agility for long periods. Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds. Move from sitting to standing quickly. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a desire to gain experience in foodservice or hospitality. An outgoing personality is preferred. The candidate should be able to interact with high-profile guests and remain professional. Must communicate effectively in English and be able to problem solve with little guidance. Benefits
