Project Manager - Substation and Transmission

The Project Manager for Transmission Lines and Substation will function in a project manager capacity. You will own the bottom-line for services projects encompassing HV, MV, LV, underground, and overhead transmission lines. There is also potential to own projects in distribution, private networks, and BESS. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Execute projects that have substantial impact within various communities Own a diversity of projects within the electric grid space including both innovative and proven technologies Please note: This role has 10% travel to project sites. Key responsibilities include: Actively promotes the safety culture. Responds to RFPs and prepares proposals for services work. Leads project team in conceptual design and procurement phases of substation projects. Manages schedule, budget, and scope of services projects. Interfaces between the client, external stakeholders, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success. Ability to work in both a corporate and field environment. Management responsibilities include management of a project team. The individual comprising this team may vary by project. Preferred qualifications include: 10+ years of relevant industry experience including high-voltage, medium-voltage, and low-voltage substations. Experience in multiple phases of project execution. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant degree. PE, P.Eng or equivalent professional license. Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Work environment/physical demands may include: Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments. Typical office environment, typical construction environment, extreme weather conditions, high noise level, safety hazards (electric currents, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to chemicals), atmospheric conditions (fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, poor ventilation). Sitting, walking, talking, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, filing, reaching, stooping, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods of time, lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds.
