As one of a few Company?level Program Managers, you will focus on Field Operations Innovation. Youll drive initiatives that make our global delivery network faster, more reliable, and easier to scale. From rethinking maintenance on the ground, to improving how we launch and maintain new hardware in the field, to reimagining how flight operators oversee national scale airspace, youll own programs that directly affect how well Zipline serves each customer where our service meets the real world. Were looking for a strategic, execution?oriented leader who thrives at both operations and technology. Youll work closely with cross?functional teamsincluding maintenance operations, flight operations, service engineering, customer support, logistics, construction, and engineeringand you will design solutions and deliver scalable, measurable improvements that impact every flight and every delivery. At Zipline, Program Management goes beyond tracking and communication. You will be the glue that holds cross?functional projects together, and an empowered decision?maker accountable for the velocity of our execution. You will join a team committed to doing the best work of their life to fulfill Zipline. What You'll Do Define and run a continuous improvement program to improve operational quality and efficiency. Identify challenges proactively and implement improvements to support rapid scale in existing and new markets. Build playbooks, processes, and systems that make Ziplines operations more effective and adaptable. Lead key projects delivering tools and processes to improve efficiency, quality, and scale. Serve as a key interface between field teams and the rest of the business, ensuring local insights inform global priorities. Monitor operational KPIs, perform root cause analysis, and resolve systemic issues. Set and communicate program objectives and priorities. Develop, maintain, and communicate Program Plans. Drive cross?functional initiatives including safety?critical issues and delivering a reliable delivery experience. Ensure cross?team ownership of critical efforts. Lead cross?functional program readiness reviews. Perform risk and opportunity analyses to address problems before they impact customers or slow scaling. Provide clear updates at working and executive levels. Create, delete, and refine processes at every level.

What You'll Bring

A positive, can?do attitude that helps rally a team to make impressive progress. Ability to identify the critical path in a program and support the team in driving it. Proven experience in a program management role with ownership of project outcomes. Ability to motivate and accelerate velocity across cross?functional teams. Hands?on experience in the field to understand operations and credibly push for improvements. Experience in fast?paced, high?growth environments with a strong continuous improvement mindset in both engineering and operations. Entrepreneurial disposition; ability to solve hard problems quickly and work with curiosity and tenacity. Flexibility to meet business needs and serve customers with excellence.

Qualifications

35+ years of program management experience across multiple complex programs. Proven ability to work across field operations teams and headquarters to develop and roll out solutions in rapidly scaling operations. Ability to lead with both strategy and grit, including digging into details when needed and making quick, informed decisions. Bias toward action, problem solving, and delivering results. Bachelors degree in engineering, logistics, business, or related field; ability to understand complex problems quickly. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Comfort working in ambiguous environments with evolving priorities. Experience launching and supporting physical products or systems in the field is a plus.

What Else You Need to Know

The starting cash range for this role is $220,000 $270,000. This is a target range for candidates who meet the minimum qualifications. Final pay will depend on experience, location, and impact.
