Sierra7, Inc. is seeking an experienced and credentialed Project Manager who will provide leadership, oversight, and coordination across multiple task areas supporting the Suicide Prevention Interagency Management Support Program. The Project Manager will serve as the single point of contact between the contractor and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for all matters related to contract performance and Subject Matter Expert (SME) support. This role is responsible for planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out complex programs that advance VAs suicide prevention mission, particularly interagency initiatives involving multiple Federal agencies and ensuring effective coordination, reporting, and delivery of program outcomes, while maintaining compliance with contract requirements and performance standards.

Sierra7, Inc. is seeking an experienced and credentialed Project Manager who will provide leadership, oversight, and coordination across multiple task areas supporting the Suicide Prevention Interagency Management Support Program. The Project Manager will serve as the single point of contact between the contractor and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for all matters related to contract performance and Subject Matter Expert (SME) support. This role is responsible for planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out complex programs that advance VAs suicide prevention mission, particularly interagency initiatives involving multiple Federal agencies and ensuring effective coordination, reporting, and delivery of program outcomes, while maintaining compliance with contract requirements and performance standards.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead all project management activities under the assigned Task Order
- Serve as the primary contractor point of contact for VA leadership, including the Program Manager (PM) and Contracting Officers Representative (COR)
- Develop, maintain, and continuously update a comprehensive Project Management Plan (PMP) including deliverables, milestones, performance indicators, and a Transition Plan
- Lead and facilitate project kickoff meetings, providing schedules, work plans, and required administrative documentation
- Oversee preparation and delivery of required reports, including Monthly Progress Reports, Leadership Reports, Ad-Hoc Reports, Interagency Reports, and updated Project Management Reports
- Provide project management support for VA suicide prevention interagency groups, ensuring alignment with VA and White House strategic priorities
- Coordinate and manage tasks across multiple interagency workstreams, maintaining centralized tracking systems and reporting status to leadership.
- Facilitate interagency and stakeholder meetings by preparing agendas, distributing read-ahead materials, documenting action items, and tracking follow-ups
- Monitor project risks, timelines, and deliverables, providing timely updates and corrective action plans as needed
- Support responses to internal and external stakeholder requests, including White House, Congress, and other federal agencies
- Ensure all project management artifacts, documentation, and reporting align with VA requirements and best practices
- Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely reporting, risk management, and transparency throughout project phases
- Preparing presentations, briefings, and other communication materials to convey progress to executive leadership and client stakeholders effectively
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex projects
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and reporting practices (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint, MS Teams, Excel)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting to senior leadership and interagency stakeholders
- Ability to develop, track, and manage multiple concurrent projects, timelines, and deliverables.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, interagency coordination, and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of healthcare systems, suicide prevention initiatives, or public health programs preferred
- Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in business, healthcare administration, public health, or a related field (required)
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in program or project management supporting large-scale programs with budgets and complexity comparable to this contract
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (or equivalent) required
- At least 4 years of experience supporting a large corporation or government agency; experience with a large healthcare organization preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing interagency or cross-functional projects in support of an agencys mission
- Demonstrated experience engaging and working with senior leadership

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Sierra7 varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is: $115,000 - $145,000 USD
