Overview
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) Reports to: Social Media Manager The Marketing & Social Media Coordinator is a dynamic hybrid role responsible for supporting brand marketing initiatives, managing wholesale briefs, coordinating events, and supporting social media strategies. This individual will play a key role in elevating brand presence, engaging target audiences, and supporting sales and business development efforts through integrated marketing campaigns and events. The ideal candidate is brand focused, creative and hands-on, with experience in B2B and B2C marketing, social media management, and event planning. They thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and bring a balance of analytical, organizational, and creative skills. Must love managing multiple overlapping projects. Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Wholesale Support Develop and implement marketing campaigns to support wholesale accounts and partnerships. Create sales tools, presentations, and collateral to drive account engagement and new business development. Collaborate with the wholesale team to ensure marketing initiatives align with customer needs and business objectives. Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance to optimize strategies. Event Management Plan, coordinate, and execute brand and trade events, including showroom activations, trade shows, and client-facing events. Partner with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure seamless execution of event logistics. Execute event marketing plans, including invitations, press outreach, and post-event follow-up. Manage event budgets, timelines, and reporting on ROI. Social Media Management Assist in developing and executing content calendars across all channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.). Assist in creating engaging, brand-right content (copy, static, stories, Reels / TikTok) to drive follower growth and engagement. Monitor social media trends, competitors, and industry insights to inform strategy. Manage the social media calendar and coordinate with internal teams for content contributions. Track analytics, produce performance reports, and optimize content for reach and engagement. Support showrooms with individual social media accounts, sharing best practices and brand-approved content.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or related field. 35 years of experience in marketing and/or social media management (preferably in luxury, design, or wholesale industries). Strong knowledge of digital marketing, analytics tools, and social media best practices. Proven track record in event planning and execution. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Creative thinker with an eye for design and branding. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and social media management platforms is a plus. Creative AI skills a plus.
