Position Summary
A mid-sized life sciences company is seeking a dynamic and experienced
Senior Project Manager
to lead cross-functional initiatives across product development, operational scale-up, and process optimization. This role will be instrumental in driving strategic projects that support innovation and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional teams to execute complex projects from initiation through completion. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables. Collaborate with functional leaders and finance teams for resource planning. Facilitate project meetings, document decisions, and ensure timely follow-ups. Oversee design control documentation and ensure regulatory compliance. Identify project risks and mitigation strategies; monitor progress against KPIs. Coordinate design reviews and phase gate reviews. Communicate project status and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership. Foster alignment across departments and external partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences, engineering, or related field. 5-8 years of project management experience in diagnostics, medical devices, or biotech. Experience with digital health or software products is a plus. Strong knowledge of design control and product development lifecycle. Familiarity with regulated environments (FDA, CLIA, ISO 13485, CE/IVDR); global experience preferred. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Gantt charts, dashboards). PMP certification preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple high-impact projects in a fast-paced setting.
