We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a rapidly growing and highly respected security integration company, for a Field Technician to join their team. About the Role:
As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of commercial security systems throughout the tri-state area. You'll work with systems such as Access Control, CCTV, and other electronic security technologies in a collaborative, field-based environment. Key Responsibilities:
Install, service, and support Access Control and CCTV systems Troubleshoot wiring and hardware issues Interpret and apply technical documentation from manufacturers Use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters Work closely with team members and clients to ensure project success Required Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on experience with Access Control and CCTV systems Strong troubleshooting and wiring skills Familiarity with Windows OS and TCP/IP networking Working knowledge of Ohms Law and standard test procedures Ability to read and apply manufacturer manuals and product specs Fluent in English Valid drivers license with a clean driving record Preferred Experience:
Experience with any of the following systems: American Dynamics Victor/VideoEdge Software House Ccure 800/9000 Lenel, Honeywell, DMP, AMAG, S2, Hirsch, GE, Sony, Pelco NICET certification is a plus Additional Requirements:
Must be able to pass a background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening Will be required to sign a client nondisclosure agreement Compensation: While a competitive salary range is listed, the exact pay will be determined based on your experience and qualifications.
