Overview

Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist (Construction / Heavy Civil). As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist supporting our Infrastructure Construction market sector (Heavy Civil, Roadways, Bridges, Environmental Remediation), you will work closely with company leaders to anticipate and address evolving workforce needs. Your primary responsibility is to source and recruit top talent for current and upcoming opportunities. This is an opportunity to contribute to change management and the development of MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure Segment strategy. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, adaptable, and able to provide strategic direction on challenging recruitment initiatives. This is a full lifecycle recruitment role. In this full-cycle recruitment role, agility in your recruitment approach is essential. We have a diverse range of positions to fill, including schedulers, project controls personnel, project managers, estimators, superintendents, construction managers, administrative support, and construction operational leaders, among others. This is a remote position, located anywhere in the continental United States. Must be able to work within regular business hours MondayFriday between 7am6pm in the applicable time zone. We provide IT equipment, including a work cell phone or reimbursement. Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and prospective talent to act as a Talent Acquisition Business Partner; guide and coach managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are understood, applicants are assessed against criteria, and the recruiting process is effective Evaluate hiring and interview processes, techniques, and system improvements; identify training opportunities where applicable Partner with hiring managers to understand business and recruitment needs, including long-term talent pipeline needs, and fill open positions in a timely manner Own full lifecycle recruiting for identified roles across the organization for exempt and non-exempt positions Ensure hiring plans provide equal opportunities to all candidates (internal and external) Manage candidates through the interview and hiring process, from assessment to offer negotiation and onboarding Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview documentation and data in the applicant tracking system Develop recruitment strategies using internet job boards, networking, resume mining, social networks, campaigns, internal transfers, and other channels to attract a diverse candidate pool Participate in staffing-related activities and cross-functional projects Assist in meeting affirmative action, equal opportunity, and diversity recruitment goals Regular and predictable attendance Other duties as assigned Essential functions to be performed in a company-designated office or field location Understand and comply with the company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other professional standards

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience Requirements: Minimum of 7 years recruiting experience required with 3+ years within construction preferred Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience AIRS Certifications preferred Ability to travel up to 10% for career fairs and other recruiting efforts may be required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Ability to develop and maintain expertise in EEO and OFCCP requirements as applied in organizational sourcing Ability to source resumes from multiple sources and conduct internet research Experience with iCIMS is a plus Strong customer focus with a consultative approach with internal clients Ability to coach and advise employees and management through sensitive HR issues Passion for improving the candidate experience for hiring managers, candidates, and new hires Ability to interface with senior-level executives, hiring managers, and candidates Handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately Skilled at developing and leveraging consultative recruitment strategies Ability to interpret and apply employment laws, rules, regulations, and policies Multitasking, time management, and strong organizational skills Proficient in MS Office and web-based software; strong social media usage for recruiting
