Location: McHenry, IL 60050
Pay Rate: $40,000 to $48,000/yr BOE
Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Description:
We are immediately hiring a dedicated and detail-oriented career planner to join our team in Harvard, IL. This role focuses on recruiting, screening, and placing candidates in well-matched employment opportunities while building strong relationships with local businesses. The ideal candidate will have experience in talent acquisition, excellent communication skills, and a passion for connecting individuals with the right job opportunities.

Career Planner Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with hiring managers to anticipate and plan staffing needs.
Source candidates through cold calling, social media, referrals, career fairs, and networking.
Create and maintain job postings and determine the best advertising methods.
Pre-screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure job fit.
Provide candidates with job details, including employment length, schedules, benefits, and expectations.
Manage relationships with external agencies, colleges, and recruitment vendors.
Handle administrative tasks such as file management, maintaining databases, and processing applications.
Career Planner Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelors degree preferred or 12 years of related experience in recruiting or staffing. Strong computer skills with experience in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software. Hands-on experience with interviewing, candidate assessments, and reference checks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual (English & Spanish) language skills are a plus, but not required.
