Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Materials Team Lead KWO. The hourly rate for this position is 24/hr per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: The Materials Team Lead will lead and work alongside the materials and shipping/receiving team to ensure each product line has timely support. In this role you: Exhibit a strong adherence to quality by continually seeking methods of improvement for all functions of the position. You will ensure that all products and parts adequately meet Eaton's quality guidelines as they move throughout the production process and perform quality checks as instructed. Coordinating the team's daily tasks and activities successful and timely completion of shipping, warehouse and receiving functions. Support daily Tier 1 process and take ownership of escalation issues within the team Operate and read hand-held RF units to find, move and allocate material. Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet the orders from our customers through daily monitoring of warehouse / line inventory; also perform cycle counts and maintain inventory system as required. Drive and maintain forklifts through daily inspection checklists and perform 5S+ housekeeping duties as necessary. Use a resource management system (SAP) to process all transactions and serve as an expert on the team. Communicate across functions and product lines to resolve and correct issues related to materials management. Coordinate training of new and current employees within the receiving, warehouse and shipping departments. Pull reports for analysis to support business needs.
