The Role Provide technical direction in the creation, delivery, and integration of multiple and moderately complex software solutions. May translate business requirements into specific designs and/or participate in the design, evaluation, and selection of IT solutions for software for a specific business process. Establish the current and future use of the practice, metrics, and methodologies to determine current and future solutions. Explore and evaluate new and approved technologies. Consult on the application of existing and new, approved technologies to develop solutions. Ensure the process of creation and delivery of design and solution in accordance with the architectural direction. Location

This role is designated as a fully remote position within the United States. The Main Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and governance of SAP security architecture across S/4HANA and related SAP applications. Define and enforce security standards, access controls, and compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, GRC, and internal audit requirements). Manage SAP roles and authorizations, including design, build, testing, and troubleshooting of complex authorization concepts. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to align security requirements with evolving business processes. Oversee user provisioning, role administration, and segregation of duties (SoD) management. Perform risk assessments, system security audits, and remediation of vulnerabilities across SAP landscapes. Support and enhance SAP GRC Access Control, implementing continuous monitoring of security risks. Provide leadership, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to security analysts and project team members. Stay current with SAP security patches, new features, and emerging industry best practices. What We Look For in a Candidate

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred). 8+ years of SAP Security experience, with at least 34 years leading security on S/4HANA programs. Strong expertise in SAP roles/authorization concepts, Fiori security, and HANA database security. Hands-on experience with SAP GRC Access Control (ARA, ARM, BRM, EAM). In-depth understanding of compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, ITGC) and audit processes. Proven ability to design, implement, and manage SoD rulesets and risk mitigation strategies. Experience in multi-system SAP landscapes, integrations, and cloud/SaaS security considerations. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred certifications: SAP Certified Technology Associate (Security/GRC), CISSP, CISM, or equivalent. Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
