September 2025, Immediate Description of Duties

Assists in the development and implementation of work packages and Task Orders. May provide direction and input on projects from design development stage through construction. Ensures Designers and Contractors are meeting CEQA/NEPA and/or Entitlement requirements. Assists in facilitating coordination with other LAWA divisions and regulatory agencies (Planning, FAA, TSA, AQMD, SHPO, EPA, etc.) as appropriate. Assist in implementing messaging plan, notices, contingency planning and other tasks as needed. Project and Position Description

The Terminal 5 Renovation & Reconstruction (T5 R&R) Low Voltage Special Systems (LVSS) Project Manager reports to the T5 R&R Terminal Project Manager and is responsible for driving and overseeing design and execution of all IT, special systems and technology systems for the T5 R&R project. The T5 R&R LVSS PM provides oversight of the design-builders design and execution of IT disciplines per LAWA standards. This position will act as the primary IT liaison and airport/owner representative responsible for T5 R&R project. Primarily, this role shall act as a liaison between the project and Information Management & Technology (IMT) and manage the details required to execute this effort and rollout without impact to airport or airline operations. Successful candidate shall display experience with large stakeholder interfaces ensuring, while understanding and driving the small details that go into signage design concepts, installation and activation. The Terminal 5 Program covers the full demolition and rebuild of the Terminal 5 headhouse and concourse, as well as various enabling scopes to vacate the existing building. Hardware/Software Knowledge

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam Ability to work in CAD or REVIT Familiarity with digital content management systems and other airport IT systems Required Qualifications

10 years or more experience, preferably on airport projects Experience with projects more than $50 million in value. Experience with various delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR and Design/Build Proven ability to perform in a management capacity Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations US Employment Authorization without needing sponsorship Excellent written and oral communication skills A valid Drivers License and compliance with PACIFICs Vehicle Policy 3+ References from Clients, preferably LAWA Education/Training

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field required. Master's degree Registration/Certification

Optional Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PMP, PE, AICP etc. or any other relevant Professional Licensure or Certifications. Key Identifiers for the Position

Primary liaison with ITM representative responsible for directing and managing the T5 IT implementation Responsible for scope development and scope management of the project to meet project goals and objectives Develop the RFP and oversee the procurement process for designers and contractors Provide direction and management for assigned project and ensure on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations Plan and define program goals and devise methods to accomplish them, developing in-depth knowledge of owner objectives, contract terms, and airport policies Plan, direct, supervise and control the execution of all technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the IT portion of the T5 R&R project Work with team members and airport management to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project Oversees owners staff that manages full project delivery including stakeholder interfaces Managing project scope to meet or exceed project goals and objectives Identify and study options to complex design, operational or constructability issues Conduct field surveys and investigations to capture detailed field conditions for design and construction decisions Maintain documentation on the approved scope of work, including agreements, authorizations, reports, drawings and specifications Coordinate with other T5 R&R Design Managers on design issues, RFI processing, shop drawing reviews, testing and commissioning activities, and other related tasks Coordinate with the T5 R&R Sr. Design Manager on the Design Review Team process Monitor permitting efforts required by the design team and contractor Oversee construction to remove obstacles and maintain progress Familiarize with contractual obligations and technical aspects of facilities Ensure work is performed to latest plans, specifications, changes, submittals, and RFIs Plan and coordinate construction activities and identify milestones Keep alert to problem areas and take preventative actions to meet milestones Ensure safe construction practices Prepare reports on construction progress for senior management Review change proposals for contractual compliance and value Prepare monthly risk reports for the Program Board Monitor QA/QC and promote project excellence Enforce program requirements and review deliverables for adherence Review pay applications Develop action plans to address cost overruns or scope changes Document and administer change orders Participate in coordination meetings with designers, contractors, and stakeholders Manage closeout process to finalize the project efficiently Technical review of scope changes Establish IT submittal approval procedures and ensure consistency of review Audit IT comments and designer responses Provide guidance on functional requirements in technical specifications Monitor BIM productions per LAWA BIM Standards and plan requirements Coordinate with TDIP project teams for program consistency Provide technical coordination for adjacent LAWA projects as needed Assist with briefings, meeting agendas, and materials for various meetings Element-Specific Requirements/Notes

May assume other duties as required/needed May be required to work past regular work shift, and various shifts as needed This is a salaried position based on 40 hours per week at the applicable all-in labor rate After hours or weekend work may be required to perform the duties of the position. This shall be considered part of the salary as exempt employee.
