This role is crucial in maintaining a safe, lawful, and enjoyable environment for all attendees. ID Checkers will be stationed at festival entrances, beverage areas, or other designated checkpoints.This role pays an hourly rate of $25.00Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matchingThis position will remain open until October 31, 2025.Verify the age and identity of all guests attempting to enter restricted areas or purchase alcoholUse UV lights or scanners (if provided) to check IDs for authenticityApply wristbands or stamps to verified individualsDeny access to individuals with invalid, expired, or fake IDsPolitely explain policies and handle guest interactions professionallyReport any suspicious behavior or security concerns to supervisors or event securityMaintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all timesFollow all festival policies, procedures, and safety guidelinesMust be 18 years or older (21+ preferred depending on alcohol service laws)Strong attention to detail and ability to detect fake IDsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to stand for long periods in outdoor conditionsDependable and punctualExperience in security, hospitality, or event settings is a plusMust be comfortable enforcing rules and handling occasional confrontational situations calmlyAt OVG, we understand that to continue positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry, we need a diverse team to help us do it.
