Information Security Analyst with Security Clearance

Position: Information Security Analyst A cleared defense program is seeking an Information Security Analyst with 3 years of hands-on experience in DevSecOps automation and CI/CD environments. This role supports Department of Defense initiatives located at Naval Base Point Mugu near Camarillo, CA. Final offer will be based on skills, relevant background, location, and contract-specific factors. Key Responsibilities Information Security & Assurance Develop, implement, and maintain security measures to protect networks and sensitive data Identify and assess system vulnerabilities; recommend and apply mitigation strategies Ensure security controls protect critical files and infrastructure Collaborate with ISSO and Cybersecurity Lead on incident response for security breaches and malware Monitor and upgrade security protocols to meet evolving threats DevSecOps Integration Embed security practices into CI/CD pipelines to reduce software vulnerabilities Partner with developers and operations teams to enforce secure coding and delivery standards Automate security checks throughout the delivery lifecycle Support ongoing cycles of integration, deployment, monitoring, and feedback Required Qualifications 310 years of relevant experience in computer/network security design, analysis, testing, and implementation Security certification CISSP or NSA equivalent certification IAM Level II compliance (DoD 8570.01) and familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) Strong background in DevSecOps practices and Linux environments Effective communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders Proactive, able to work independently with minimal supervision Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline Substitution: 6 years of relevant experience without a degree, or 4 years with an Associates degree Clearance & Citizenship Must hold a current Secret (T5) clearance and be eligible to upgrade to Top Secret U.S. citizenship required at the time of applicationbfb3568a-762b-4989-884b-a9682aa104ca
