Field Technician (Landfill Gas Technician)

We are seeking a dedicated Landfill Gas Technician to join our team, supporting our operations and maintenance efforts. The role involves the analysis of landfill well data using an eTools system, along with pump maintenance tasks such as pulling, rebuilding, troubleshooting, and replacing. Responsibilities also include monitoring the wellfield, pipe fusion (HDPE pipe welding), pulling pumps, and managing SEMs and probes. The position provides access to company equipment and vehicles. Responsibilities: Pipe fusion (HDPE pipe welding) Monitor landfill wellfield using gas meters. Perform maintenance on pumps including pulling, rebuilding, troubleshooting, and replacing. Conduct landfill gas reading and tuning. Manage SEMs (Surface Emissions Monitoring) and probes effectively. Essential Skills: Experience working as a field technician in an environmental or civil environment, forestry or GIS also accepted Must be comfortable working Experience with landfill gas systems is a plus but not required. Proficiency in environmental engineering practices. Competence in data entry and collection. HAZWOPER certification is a plus. Experience in environmental field and testing. Mechanical experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications: ISCO or McElroy pipe fusion certification is a plus. Experience with field sampling or monitoring. Work Environment: Monday-Friday 40 hour work week, 7am start time. Commuting to the landfill site there in Bristol daily (with personal vehicle, company vehicles are available for onsite use).
