Shipping & Receiving Position
Adecco is now hiring for a Shipping & Receiving position for a manufacturing company in the Los Angeles area. Responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming and outgoing orders, picking and processing customer's orders using a warehouse management system, replenishing picking locations as needed, cycle counting inventory, pallet assembly with products to ship, utilizing a manual pallet jack to move products by loading small and large parcels and pallets, maintaining a neat and orderly workspace, sorting, counting and palletizing incoming freight, working independently with a sense of urgency and purpose, and making decisions based on quantity of work and required finishing time to meet shipment deadlines. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED equivalent, at least one year of experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, the ability to stand, bend, and do lifting during the full 8-hour shift, at least one year of manual pallet experience, experience using a warehouse management system/ERP system and following best practices to ensure inventory is tracked correctly, experience with shipping and receiving domestically and internationally with all carriers UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, Stamps.com, the ability to follow verbal and written instructions, and the ability to communicate professionally with management and team. Shifts are available from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with some overtime. Pay details are $20.00 per hour.
