Logistics Coordinator
As a logistics coordinator, you will coordinate and support international shipments, ensuring timely and compliant delivery. Your role will involve collaborating with freight brokers to manage and troubleshoot global logistics, processing and verifying invoices related to international and domestic shipments, and handling planned purchase order (PPO) shipments, including release scheduling and tracking. You will accurately process customer orders, maintain order documentation, communicate with customers regarding shipment status, order updates, and issue resolution, support outbound shipping operations, and create and manage bills of lading for outbound shipments to ensure proper documentation and compliance. Responsibilities: Coordinate international and domestic shipments for timely and compliant delivery. Collaborate with freight brokers to manage and troubleshoot logistics. Process and verify invoices for shipments. Handle planned purchase order (PPO) shipments, including scheduling and tracking. Accurately process customer orders and maintain documentation. Communicate with customers regarding shipment status and issue resolution. Support outbound shipping operations, including revising packaging lists. Create and manage bills of lading for outbound shipments. Essential skills: Proficiency in logistics and transportation. Experience with data entry and order processing. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel. Knowledge of SAP. Understanding of inbound/outbound freight and international shipping. Experience with trade compliance and invoicing. Additional skills & qualifications: 1 year contract with opportunity to transition to a direct role. 4 years of international logistics or export controls experience preferred. Domestic logistics experience acceptable. No degree required. Work environment: The work environment offers a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, with hours from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Some flexibility may be available, but the expectation is to work on-site five days a week. Pay and benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
