Hearst Health The Product Owner will collaborate with stakeholders and technology teams to enhance and expand CareProminence solutions. The individual will develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, business, and IT partners, acting as a liaison between engineering and product management team and mitigating ambiguity. The Product Owner will identify opportunities and implement process improvements, establishing deadlines, aligning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress against goals. This Product Owner owns their products at the team level maintaining and prioritizing the teams backlog. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product solutions specific to healthcare organizations. Key Responsibilities Collaborating with UX and Engineering to build solutions and get them in customers hands timely and with high quality. Collaborate with Product Management team to understand high level product requirements and evolve them into Agile epics and stories. Work with engineering, product management and UX team to outline design approaches that account for key customer needs and efficient user experiences. Serve as a product owner within the Agile scrum process, ensuring visibility, prioritization and backlog readiness for the assigned teams. Work with one or more engineering teams to deliver timely, quality releases that provide high business value and exceed customer expectations. Drive discussions around technical and design trade-offs to find a balance between speed and quality of solutions delivered. Incorporate feedback from demos, interviews, user research and engineering into the Agile teams backlog. Accept the work outputs produced by Agile teams, ensuring all stories meet definition of done. Build and grow client trust organically as a product advisor by proving ongoing value through accountability, proactive communication and transparency, while providing tailored solutions aligned to each clients goals and use cases. Manages stakeholder expectations; negotiates priorities and responsiveness with transparent communication to maintain trust. Be the evangelist and expert for MHK Solutions within the company. Collaborate with Product Managers to understand the market demands, priorities, and overall product strategy. Articulate the value of improvements to the product(s) when designing solutions in partnership with development and UX teams. Hold accountability for deliverables meeting the intended value by staying involved in development progress every step of the way through the agile scrum processes.

Education/Certification

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience with Healthcare Product solutions Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) credentials is a plus

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

3+ years of experience with business requirements in Agile Product Ownership Strong intuition about user experience and what makes a product experience great Ability to thrive working within teams and enjoys getting things done as a unit Experience in product ownership and building solutions, focusing on what matters most Ability to unpack complex, ambiguous problems and ship simple and user-friendly solutions Strong analytical skills and experience breaking up complex problems into manageable milestones Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills Proven technical understanding and attention to detail with experience working on SAAS products within healthcare
