Logistics Specialist
Temp to Hire $55K$65K Duties
Shipping & Receiving Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including scheduling carriers, preparing documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition. Inventory Management Monitor stock levels, track inventory, and update records in the system. Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory audits. Order Fulfillment Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Collaborate with warehouse and supply chain teams to resolve delays or discrepancies. Documentation & Compliance Prepare bills of lading, customs paperwork, and shipping labels. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international shipping regulations. Vendor & Carrier Coordination Work with freight forwarders, carriers, and suppliers to negotiate rates and optimize transportation. Resolve shipping or delivery issues promptly. Process Improvement Identify inefficiencies in logistics workflows and recommend improvements. Support implementation of logistics technology and automation tools. Requirements
Associates or Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 24 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation. Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, documentation, and international trade (if applicable). Proficiency in logistics/supply chain and/or ERP software. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience with international shipping and customs compliance a plus. Certification in supply chain or logistics (e.g., APICS, CSCP, CPL) a plus.
