Activities include: market assessment, customer engagement and education, pricing, promotion, sales, internal and external product training, product strategy, product coordination, preparation of product launch materials, promotion throughout product life cycle and other duties as assigned. This position will be the advocate for the success of this product line within the organization.
This position may also require prioritization of projects and strategy outlining for other internal teams such as New Markets.

Major Job Responsibilities, Functions, And Duties
Accountable for the profitability and livelihood of the product area of focus. Add value to the company through strategically evaluating new markets, entering or deciding not to enter new markets, improving current markets, retiring old markets. Collaborate with other team members for market evaluations. Be the main source of information on assigned products lines and prioritize further educating yourself on how the product works, what it is made of, the competitor products, advantages and disadvantages and assisting sales in correctly communicating product information. Develop products for the product area of focus from concept generation, to product design, development, prototype testing, market research, product marketing, internal and external product education and sales. Investigate and translate clinician input into products and perform market research to solve specific problems that face our customers. This includes determining which clinic in input is necessary to follow up on and deciding which products to build a business case around to launch in the future. This also includes determining if customers may require further training or if investigation is needed. Work closely with the Engineering team on learning techniques for identifying materials, technologies, and processes that provide the best design solution. Create business cases for product lines and evaluate market for our core competencies Accountable for management and documentation surrounding sourcing, supplier qualification, incoming QC, labeling/marketing collateral, customer feedback, customer complaints, and supplier corrective actions as necessary for all non-regulated products. Collaborate with cross-functional groups to meet established metrics while adhering to quality system guidelines for all regulated products. Create marketing tools, and create valuable email campaigns to target customer base that result in positive return. Plan yearly tradeshow activities for the product line which includes strategy, plan, set up, promotions, working the shows, and creating follow up plan for the shows. Develop key customer relationships and promotional plan for product lines. Work cross-functionally across the organization to drive project completion forward. Accountable for moving product line assignments forward on time and take responsibility and using discretion for minimizing expenses. Travel and assist with trials and customer education including but not limited to: Education on the use of our products, consultation on procedure techniques, and troubleshooting product issues and feedback
General Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in a related field 1 year of experience in Medical Device Product Management preferred Adept at problem-solving, including identifying issues and finding solutions with minimal direction The ability to work independently or as part of a small team with minimal direction Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload and balance multiple projects at the same time Displays integrity and commitment to excellence in all work. Effective attention to detail and displays a high degree of accuracy in work Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, organizational, analytical, and leadership skills Flexible and adaptable to change in response to evolving business needs, timelines requests, etc. Able to gather and analyze data, and use it in a meaningful way to inform decisions/direction Must have a valid drivers license and ability to operate and rent a vehicle in all 50 states
Physical Job Requirements
Able to work in the headquarters office located in Chicago, IL Able to travel between worksite locations including but not limited to: Chicago, IL, Mt. Pleasant, WI or Waukegan, IL Able to remain in a stationary position, either sitting or standing, for prolonged periods of time Able to move about the office to access common equipment such as filing cabinets, copier, printer, etc. Able to adjust or move objects up to 30 pounds Able to move and lift objects up to 30 pounds Able to work in warehouse with potentially noisy and hazardous conditions Able to travel domestically and/or internationally
Compensation
The salary range is expected to be $82,000 to $88,000 annually and will be determined based on prior experience and skill level. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus of up to 10% of the annual salary.
