Real Estate Analyst

to join our Business Development team. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with a foundational understanding of real estate finance and a strong interest in multifamily underwriting and market analysis. As a Senior Real Estate Analyst, you will support the evaluation of investment opportunities by building financial models, conducting market research, and preparing proposals for both existing and prospective clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen in multifamily underwriting and a solid understanding of real estate markets. This role involves conducting thorough financial analysis, forecasting, and underwriting to support our clients and potential clients' investment strategies. What Youll Be Doing Build and maintain one-year and multi-year financial models and pro formas for multifamily properties. Assist in creating 12-month operating budgets for new and existing assets. Conduct research and analyze market data including occupancy rates, rental trends, demographics, and economic indicators. Support development of client proposals and investment presentations. Coordinate with multifamily real estate brokers to schedule property tours and request financial reports. Review existing property service contracts to support operational assessments. Participate in client and business development meetings to provide analytical insights. Assist with ad-hoc reporting, special projects, and internal process improvements. Maintain proactive communication with your supervisor to ensure timely completion of tasks. Requirements Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field required. 2+ years of experience in real estate analysis, underwriting, or a related financial role required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial formulas, modeling, etc.). and general Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) or equivalent. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical-thinking skills. Strong understanding of multifamily real estate underwriting and financial principles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and meet deadlines. Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment. High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information. Physical Requirements Keying/typing, sitting, standing, and walking as part of daily work responsibilities. Requires constant mental and/or visual attention; the work involves both repetitive and varied tasks, requiring sustained focus in an office environment. The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during normal job performance. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate in other situations.
