Description/Notes:
The middle school Dean of Instruction, under the supervision of the principal, is responsible for the academic progress of students. The Dean of Instruction assists the school principal in providing instructional leadership to ensure high standards of student achievement and overall school effectiveness. The Dean of Instruction keeps abreast of researched-based effective instructional strategies to assist instructional staff to meet high academic standards. The Deans job is to work with the adults in the building (predominantly the professional/paraprofessional instructional staff) to ensure academic success of the students. Qualifications Master's Degree Texas Professional Mid-Management, Administrator, or Professional Principal Certificate Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-Tess) appraiser 3 years Assistant Principal experience preferred
Salary Range
1 226 day contract Minimum - $78,856
