Production Planner
to manage daily scheduling and coordinate production efforts across departments. This role is key to meeting our customer commitments and ensuring smooth, efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules for Machine Shop and Assembly Create, release, and track production orders using ERP (Business Central preferred) Adjust schedules based on delays, shortages, or shifting priorities Collaborate with Planning, Supply Chain, and Production teams to align demand and capacity Support weekly S&OP meetings and generate production status reports Evaluate BOMs, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate routing Contribute to ongoing improvement of planning processes and system data integrity Qualifications
1-3 years of production planning or scheduling experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred (experience may substitute) ERP system experience required (Business Central or Epicor preferred) Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, data analysis) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to read technical drawings and understand manufacturing workflows Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment What You'll Gain
