is hiring a Human Resources Generalist at its Augusta location. In this role, you will take the lead on attracting and hiring top talent while supporting a wide range of HR initiatives that enhance the employee experience. Youll be the main point of contact for recruitment efforts, working closely with managers to understand hiring needs and ensure a smooth, positive process for candidates. Beyond recruiting, youll contribute to day-to-day HR operations, helping to create a workplace thats compliant, inclusive, and aligned with our values. Responsibilities
Leading full-cycle recruiting effortsfrom job postings and resume screening to interviews, and onboarding Partnering with hiring managers to anticipate staffing needs and provide recruiting support Maintaining job descriptions, career postings, and the applicant tracking systems Assisting with performance management Contributing to employee engagement initiatives Helping ensure HR policies and practices are compliant, inclusive, and aligned with our values Contributing to process improvements and HR projects that enhance employee experience Why Maine State Credit Union?

Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably with recruiting responsibilities Familiarity with employment laws, HR best practices, and full-cycle recruiting Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with applicant tracking systems a plus Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism Benefits of Employment with Maine State CU
