Networking Administrator (Intermediate-Level) Adelphi, MD Link Solutions, Inc. delivers reliable and effective Information Technology services to government clients in support of critical mission needs. This role involves understanding enterprise network architecture, Layer 2/3 switching, routing protocols, and network security standards, with responsibility for the installation, configuration, maintenance, performance, and security of the network infrastructure. Compensation: $51,000 - $86,000. This position is non-remote with relocation incentive available. US citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance are required. Job Responsibilities

Monitor and manage network performance, availability, and security. Implement and enforce network security procedures and best practices to comply with DoD regulations. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network-related software and hardware systems, including Layer 2/3 switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and encryption devices. Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP. Work with IP-based networking environments, including IPv4/IPv6 and IPSec VPNs. Maintain knowledge of and apply standards related to 802.1x, 802.11, MAC bridging, traffic management, and data encryption. Evaluate, develop, and sustain telecommunications infrastructure and ensure conformance with organizational IT policies and objectives. Train users on basic network operations and escalate advanced issues to senior personnel when necessary. Qualifications

Must be a US Citizen. Must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance. AA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or 2+ years of relevant IT enterprise network engineering experience. IAT Level II Certification or higher per DoD 8570/8140 (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP). CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA or equivalent. Proven leadership in managing complex network environments, including DoD networks. Advanced knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), security standards (802.1X, 802.11, MAC bridging), and MAC/traffic management concepts. Experience with network segmentation, traffic management, and secure network architecture design. Knowledge of network tools, monitoring platforms, and documentation best practices. Ability to plan and implement large-scale network configurations and upgrades with minimal downtime. Preferred

ITIL v4 certification. Experience with incident management in ServiceNow ITSM. Familiarity with NIST, STIG, RMF, and Federal Information Systems Controls. Knowledge of hardware configuration management tools and logistics tracking systems. Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures. Experience working in a DoD environment. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, self-starter, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and multi-tasking ability. Salary

Salary Range:
