We are looking for a compassionate caregiver/CNA to join our growing team! The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide various levels of support to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.
  • Assist with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
  • Plan and prepare meals.
  • Assist with physical therapy exercises.
  • Complete client shopping or accompany them to do so.
  • Perform housekeeping duties.
  • Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
  • Offer activities essential for daily living, including assisting patients with meals and serving if necessary.

Qualifications

  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and learn new skills.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation daily.
  • Compassionate and supportive demeanor.
  • Availability to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care.
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, or completion of a CNA program.
  • Supportive and compassionate attitude.
  • Experience with Hoyer Lift (specific to client).
