Proactively interacts with patients, family members, visitors, vendors, and staff to ensure positive first impressions and prompt, professional service. Performs duties including transportation, screening, escorting, badge retrieval, discharge support, waiting room oversight, and other support as needed. Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent Valid Drivers License Preferred Qualifications
Two years experience in high contact customer service or similar setting Core Duties and Responsibilities
Welcome patients, visitors, and vendors warmly upon arrival Operate external transportation vehicle (tram) to assist patient movement Manage traffic flow into and out of the area Assist patients with vehicles, including safe handling and wheelchair assistance Provide wayfinding and escort services within the hospital Inform and assist visitors with hospital services and locations Oversee waiting room areas, ensuring comfort and cleanliness Support inpatient discharge process, including transportation of patients and belongings Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly Research and provide local area information and resources Recognize stress or trauma signs and offer appropriate support Maintain confidentiality and professional appearance Physical Requirements
Effective communication skills Ability to lift/move up to 50-80 pounds Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods Work Environment
Exposure to weather conditions Teamwork and problem-solving skills required Skills and Abilities
