Computer Network Defense Analyst (CNDA)
to join a growing team in
multiple locations such as Annapolis Junction, MD and Salt Lake City, UT . Responsibilities
Use information collected from a variety of sources (e.g., intrusion detection systems, firewalls, network traffic logs, and host system logs) to identify potential vulnerabilities, respond to cyber events, and defend against events that might occur. Help develop mitigations to strengthen network defenses and protect against attacks on network infrastructure devices or systems. Work with data transport, including traditional wired networks, wireless transport (Wi-Fi and cellular), collaborative platforms such as video teleconferencing, and the supporting hardware and software. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of demonstrated DoD experience as a Computer Network Defense Analyst. CNDAs must have experience in network or system administration. Experience with computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering. Foreign language experience may count toward experience requirements. Relevant certifications or specialized training include JCAC, CEH, CFR, CySA+, GCIH, CNDSP (examples). Security Clearance
A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required. Pay and Benefits
Pay Range:
$49,996.80 - $290,004.00 Pay ranges are a general guideline and not a guaranteed final compensation. Determination of official compensation relies on factors including level of the position, responsibilities, location, experience, education, certifications, and contract wage rates.
