Bowhead Personnel Security Adjudicator, Lead
Bowhead seeks a Personnel Security Adjudicator, Lead to support our customer on the TSA Personnel Security Adjudication (PERSEC) Services contract. Responsibilities
Assign and manage workloads of subordinates to satisfy weekly requirements. Ensure TSA specific adjudicative regulations are applied properly. Provide second level review of subordinate's derogatory recommendations. Ensure active communication with the Contract Contracting Officer's Representative. Apply logic and judgement in the application of adjudication standards. Apply safeguards towards the securing of PII and classified investigative content to the Top Secret Level. Ensure employees are available to TSA leadership regarding concerns and questions about decision as status of cases assigned to contractors. Reconcile and deliver weekly and monthly reports to the COR/Government Team. Ensure deliverables are provided promptly in accordance with the Statement of Work Requirements. Act as the single point of contact through which all Contractor/Government communication and technical direction shall flow. Perform pre-appointment and fitness appointment adjudications as necessary. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience. Extensive working understanding of the Adjudication process. Working understanding of the responsibilities and duties to be able to manage the distribution of the casework to the contract team. Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time. Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently have an active Top Secret clearance.
