VP - Chief Supply Chain Officer
in Wausau, WI! Working closely with the Senior Vice President of Finance/CFO, the Vice President Chief Supply Chain Officer is responsible for optimizing key supply chain operational processes and systems. Develops policies and cost containment strategies to standardize key aspects of supply chain operations. Coordinates supply chain activities including procurement and logistics programs across the system. Provides administrative leadership and oversight to all aspects of the supply chain, including overseeing the clinical engineering program to ensure standards are met. Responsibilities also include supporting Value Analysis activities to ensure cost-effective delivery of supplies and equipment. Develops relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and group purchasing organizations to improve quality and efficiency. Oversees daily supply chain operations and manages multiple System level Supply Chain Directors, Managers, and staff. Experience: Knowledge of hospital management, policy administration, budgeting, financial strategies, and standards, typically acquired through a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree. Masters Degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years supply chain leadership experience in healthcare and at least 10 years total supply chain experience. Demonstrated leadership, management, and problem-solving skills. Service-oriented, strategic leader with technical and financial expertise. Proven performance improvement and project management skills. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with changing priorities.
