Low-latency - Core C++ - Infra SWE A top global systematic prop firm is seeking an experienced Core C++ Infrastructure Engineer to join its Trading Infrastructure team. This group builds the mission-critical services and systems that underpin the firm's front, middle, and back office enabling seamless integration with trading operations, research, risk management, and reconciliation processes. As part of a high-impact, fast-paced engineering environment, youll help design and implement scalable, ultra-reliable systems that support multi-asset systematic trading on a global scale. Engineers are expected to take ownership of solutions end-to-end, and have a deep understanding of how their work connects with the broader business. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain low-latency, highly available trading infrastructure used by multiple teams across the business. Design and implement microservices and system components with a focus on reliability, testability, and performance. Tackle greenfield development projects and modernize legacy systems with rigorous engineering practices. Collaborate with quants, traders, and other engineers to develop domain-specific tools and abstractions. Drive projects from requirements to production, with autonomy and responsibility. Contribute to the improvement of deployment, monitoring, and support infrastructure. Required Skills: Strong server-side engineering background with multiple years of hands-on C++ experience. Deep knowledge of systems programming concepts including concurrency, memory management, and low-level performance tuning. Experience designing and building distributed systems and working with microservice architectures. Solid understanding of Linux-based environments and comfort with command-line tools, debugging, and scripting. Familiarity with networking protocols, market data systems, or message buses such as ZeroMQ, Kafka, or RabbitMQ. Working knowledge of SQL and experience with relational or time-series databases.
