Senior Marketing Coordinator
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator for our Transportation Construction Management Practice in RS&H's Western and Central Regions. This person will be able to work remotely and/or with the option to work from one of our nationwide RS&H offices. As a senior marketing coordinator, your mission will be to promote the RS&H brand through storytelling, proposal theming and messaging, compelling visuals, and marketing materials. This role includes significant customer focus that supports marketing and business development initiatives. You will lead collaboration and coordination with internal project teams, area and regional leaders, subject matter experts, technical writers, graphic designers, and external industry partners/organizations requiring excellent organizational skills to execute all assignments. Your primary responsibility will be to develop content for proposals, including technical and creative descriptions of project understanding, approaches, experience, and proposed staff. Secondarily you will help develop various types of marketing communications, including award submittals, abstracts for industry conferences, internal and external thought leadership pieces, resumes, project summaries, and marketing materials. This position will require exceptional time management, strong communication and organizational skills, and astute attention to detail. With this expertise of prioritizing multiple tasks and adapting to changing priorities and direction, you'll continue to drive your career and the company forward. Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate DOT/local government pursuits with internal and external pursuit team members. Work directly with technical staff to develop proposals, presentations, graphics, marketing material, web media, etc. Proofread and edit proposal text for proper grammar, spelling, readability, and compliance. Evaluate technical content to make sure it satisfies RFP requirements and company brand standards. Facilitate meetings and collaborate with internal and external team members to outline message components and develop differentiators, win themes, compelling text, and graphic concepts. Write non-technical content and edit proposals for messaging, strategy, and persuasiveness. Develop interview presentation slide decks. Coach presentation teams for interviews and other shortlisting activities. Work with graphic designers to create persuasive graphics. Facilitate internal QA/QC procedures for all marketing and proposal materials. Create and maintain resumes, company information, project descriptions, and photography for proposals, SOQs, precertifications, or other materials. Conduct research on market trends, competitor materials, media contacts, etc. Basic graphic design tasks, such as diagrams, tables, charts, cover designs, layouts for proposals, presentations, marketing materials, reports, etc. Perform general marketing-related administrative duties as requested. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, English, Communications, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 7-10 years of relevant professional services marketing/proposal experience. Strong writing, editing, and grammar skills are required. Proficiency in marketing, communication, and graphics design processes. A self-starter that can adapt to changing priorities while working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent time management skills and the ability to drive proposal schedules, working across multiple U.S. time zones. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for events & meetings such as interview preparation, presentations, conferences, client meetings, site visits, etc. Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook) Advanced user in Adobe InDesign. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience coordinating DOT professional services proposals for clients that include MDOT, ISTHA, IDOT, TxDOT, CDOT, UDOT, WSDOT, ADOT, NTTA, and CTRMA. Deltek Vision (or other relational database programs) experience is a plus Demonstrate a high-level of creativity using graphics Adobe PhotoShop or Illustrator experience Experience with CRM/Data management platforms Benefits:
