Overview
The Microsoft 365 administrator is responsible for the daily administration, support, and optimization of the Microsoft 365 services across the organization. This role ensures the effective delivery, performance, and security of the Microsoft 365 platformincluding Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune and Power Platform services. The administrator will also assist with licensing, user lifecycle management and M365 related projects and support strategic IT initiatives. Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft Intune for Windows, iOS and Android to ensure proper configuration, policy enforcement and seamless device management Leverage Azure AD to manage user identities, dynamic groups, authentication and access control, ensuring secure device and application access Support the implementation and deployment of Microsoft Copilot, ensuring alignment with organizational standards, governance policies, and best practices Configure and manage Azure AD conditional access policies in conjunction with Intune to enforce security compliance across all devices Manage application deployment, licensing and updates through Intune for all North American users Assist with onboarding and offboarding users by enrolling new devices and removing old devices Oversee SharePoint site architecture, permissions, document libraries, workflows, and integration with Teams Support the management and rollout of Microsoft Fabric components (e.g., Power BI, Data Factory) in alignment with data and analytics teams Promote adoption and best practices in Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and shared platforms Create and maintain automation scripts for provisioning and managing Azure resources using PowerShell and ARM templates Support data retention and data recovery using tools such as Microsoft Purview Maintain system documentation and participate in change management processes Qualifications
Bachelors or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 environments with a focus on Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and its components (Power BI, Data Factory, etc) Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Azure services such as VMs, Azure AD, Azure Monitor, Azure Storage, and ARM templates Security & Compliance: Familiarity with Azure security best practices, compliance requirements, and monitoring tools Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Azure AD Skilled in site architecture, document management, permissions, metadata Ability to manage Power BI workspaces, configure gateways, enforce access controls, and oversee deployment pipelines Understanding of Fabric components such as Power BI, Data Factory, and their integration into organizational data workflows Proficient in using PowerShell for automation, reporting and bulk administration tasks Note: This description reflects the responsibilities and qualifications for the Microsoft 365 administrator role and excludes extraneous postings and navigational boilerplate. #J-18808-Ljbffr
