Overview
This position is 100% onsite in Tucson, Arizona. The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) team within the Hardware Discipline Center provides test solutions to support production lines for the Raytheon missile portfolio. The software team within TEE develops advanced Windows application solutions for Raytheon products. TEE works across engineering labs, field environments, and production environments to support weapon system products throughout the engineering lifecycle. The selected candidate will focus on design, development, integration, and maintenance of software as part of on-site factory support for weapon system product development. Responsibilities include building applications, libraries, and instrument drivers using the organizations specified software style, development tools, and IDEs. The candidate will contribute to multidisciplinary engineering teams and may work independently or as part of a team to design, develop, and implement system-level applications. What You Will Do
Design, develop, and integrate object-oriented software applications using C#, C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio on Windows Prioritize and handle multiple software engineering tasks concurrently Troubleshoot software and test equipment instrumentation Collaborate in a multidisciplinary engineering team environment Develop and derive requirements for software products Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field Experience developing and integrating software applications using programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, or Visual Basic Experience with integrated development environments and debugging tools to troubleshoot software implementations Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Visual Studio Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility to obtain a security clearance Qualifications We Prefer
Knowledge of computer architecture and hardware optimization techniques Knowledge of developing software drivers for hardware interfaces Knowledge of common computer hardware interfaces and data protocols such as TCP/IP or UDP Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML) for software architecture visualization Knowledge of software development lifecycles (Waterfall and Agile) Knowledge of Software Configuration Management principles Good written and interpersonal communication skills What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD 130,000 USD and is a good?faith estimate dependent on experience, role, location, education/training, and key skills.
