AWS Cloud Architect - Mid with Security Clearance

IT Depot has an opportunity for a Cloud Solutions Architect Mid that wants to make a difference in the defense of the nation by applying their talents and experience in a fast-paced dynamic environment in support of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Job Requisition: Cloud Solutions Architect Mid Time Type: Full Time Minimum Clearance: TS with the ability to obtain an SCI Employee Type: Regular Location: Quantico, VA Percentage of Travel Required: 0% Type of Schedule: Hybrid Required Skills: Deploying, testing, certifying, patching, securing, and addressing interoperability issues for all features, components, application dependencies, and system infrastructure. Monitoring system performance and reporting on anomalies. Regularly performing and maintaining data backups and disaster recovery operations. Troubleshooting and resolving server and application issues including connectivity, storage, service status, application status, availability, and physical hardware (peripheral) Supporting Continuity of Operations (COOP) as needed Experience in the administration of Linux (Patch, STIG, configure, and troubleshooting). Expertise in DevOps, Gitlab, Configuration Management, Cloud Infrastructure, Automation, scripting experience with PowerShell and Python. Cloud Formation/Automation/ PowerShell / Comparable Linux Scripting. Experience building infrastructure as code (IAC) using Terraform. Experience with container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker. Hands-on experience implementing AWS components such as: Lambda, IAM, Load Balancers, RDS, Cloudformation, S3, EC2, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Sagemaker. Experience enforcing cloud security practices including configuring encryption, implementing VPC endpoint policies, bucket policies, and locking down security groups. Demonstrated, hands-on technical experience in Network and Transport protocols, tools, and techniques. Strong knowledge of IP Networking including VPCs, VPNs, VRF, DNS, load-balancing, and firewalls. Experience developing and maintaining systems architecture and configuration documentation. At least 5 years of experience with customer-facing cloud projects (AWS preferred). A strong understanding of AWS/cloud-based technologies with a desire to learn more. Current hands-on implementation experience migrating on-premises applications to AWS. 3 years of relevant experience in a progression of roles to include delivering and sustaining technical and cloud solutions. Demonstrated customer focus and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communications skills.
