The Information Security Analyst will play a critical role in implementing, maintaining, and supporting the operational security of a large enterprise network. This position requires expertise in network firewall administration, troubleshooting, and adherence to cybersecurity best practices. The role involves a hybrid work schedule, alternating between on-site and remote work, and requires collaboration with end users, teammates, and leadership. Responsibilities
Implement, maintain, and provide operational support for enterprise network firewalls. Analyze and resolve technical issues in production environments. Perform maintenance, upgrades, and changes on production firewalls. Troubleshoot and remediate issues related to network infrastructure and systems. Complete project-related tasks in a timely manner with high quality. Follow documented processes, procedures, and policies. Create and modify process documentation as necessary. Collaborate daily with end users, teammates, and leadership. Participate in after-hours on-call rotation with other team members. Perform other firewall-related duties as assigned or needed. Qualifications
5+ years of firewall management experience. Strong understanding of complex Palo Alto firewall deployments (e.g., VSYSes, Multi-VR, VM deployments). Experience scripting changes in firewall and/or networking equipment. Automation knowledge and experience (preferred). Compliance knowledge and experience (preferred). Familiarity with Agile methodology (preferred). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Critical thinking and independence in problem-solving. Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience. Understanding of current cybersecurity best practices. Experience managing firewalls across a large enterprise, including remote deployments. Proven ability to complete strategic infrastructure projects effectively. Commitment to customer service excellence. Strict adherence to change management policies and procedures. About PTR Global
