We are looking for a driven Lead Product Manager to join our team and lead the development of the core monetization platform that drives company business growth. As a member of our monetization team, you will be responsible for the marketplace pricing platform and tools, unlocking revenue opportunities across key categories and regions and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver on partner goals. This includes implementing optimal monetization strategies and working closely with core engineering and design leads, business leads, and multiple product and engineering teams across eBay. This individual contributor role is expected to drive execution of multiple product initiatives in a matrix organization. What You Will Accomplish
Develop and communicate product vision and strategy for the pricing platform and tools by deeply understanding user needs, business goals, market trends, and competition. Based on this, prioritize features and create a roadmap.
Translate product strategy into clear, detailed, and actionable product requirements
Deliver roadmap on time, monitor timelines and progress, and adapt plans based on feedback and data
Measure product metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve product experience
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, research, analytics, marketing, operations, and business units to successfully deliver the roadmap and encourage user adoption of shipped features
Regularly report on key metrics and address performance issues and risks to work towards successful achievement of goals
Drive a culture of quality, customer-centricity, scalability, and reliability
What You Will Bring
9+ years as a technical product leader, with significant time and success in large scale platforms. 2 years of experience in / related to e-commerce. Marketplace experience is strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
Demonstrated success in driving innovation, product growth, and delivering high-quality customer experiences with a customer-centric and data-driven approach. Ability to understand user needs and find simple and creative ways to solve them.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and navigating highly complex cross-functional projects end-to-end. Ability to influence and drive decisions in ambiguous situations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving, ability to forecast and measure test performance, and monitor product health metrics. Proficiency in basic data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau.
Excellent communication skills, ability to summarize technical conversations or partner requests in a clear and concise manner via written and verbal communication and effective partner engagement skills.
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below: $197,200 - $263,300 Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
