The Sales Manager - Immunohistochemistry for Leica Biosystems is responsible for developing and executing a successful sales strategy and plan for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion across the region. They are also responsible for leading a team of sales representatives to exceed Leica Biosystems' sales goals and deliver on commercial strategies. This position is part of the Commercial Team and will be remote. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives. You will be a part of the Commercial team and report to the Vice President - Commercial North America. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Achieve and exceed the region's quarterly and annual sales quota, strategic and unit sales mix objectives, profit goal, and market share goals. Provide direction, leadership, coaching, and mentoring for direct sales representatives. Recruit, develop, and train sales representatives and specialists with clearly communicated sales and overall performance standards. Forecast monthly revenue projections utilizing the company CRM. Develop, solidify, and maintain high-level relationships within key accounts in assigned geography. Achieve and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor's Degree 5+ years relevant sales experience Prior management experience Prior capital sales experience Contract negotiation/high level selling experience or selling in a matrixed environment Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ability to travel 50-75% Must possess a valid Driver's license Ability to travel overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and/or for company meetings It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Degree in Life Sciences or Master's Degree in Business/MBA Diagnostics, Life Science, and/or Pathology experience preferred Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. The annual salary range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
