Provide project management and support for the attorney's practice, ensuring all deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently. Act as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and other internal departments, handling inquiries and relaying messages with accuracy and discretion. Build and maintain professional relationships with teams to ensure efficient and effective collaboration. Delegate assignments to Legal Support Assistants and other support staff, monitoring progress and providing feedback. Draft, proofread, and finalize legal documents, correspondence, and presentations. Oversee and maintain electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring all documents are easily accessible. Conduct research for case preparation and executive briefings. Coordinate meeting logistics, prepare agendas, and ensure all necessary materials are available. Manage billing matters, including approval forms and communication with the Billing Department. Maintain the attorney's calendar, schedule meetings, resolve conflicts, and organize travel itineraries. Oversee the timely and accurate processing of attorney expenses and time entries. Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative role within a corporate or legal environment, providing support to upper-level leadership. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to work independently and make sound decisions on behalf of the attorney. High level of professionalism and discretion, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. Process-driven professional with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency with legal research tools, case management software, accounting software, and standard production applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving needs, including the use of new technology and AI-powered tools. Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom and Teams. Education:
