TonaLaw is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Personal Injury team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing a high-volume caseload, and values frequent client communication. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a key role in all phases of plaintiff personal injury litigationfrom drafting and filing through trial preparationwhile supporting both attorneys and clients. Responsibilities: Serve as a primary client contact, providing updates and building trust. Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, affidavits, and trial preparation documents. Prepare demand packages, affidavits, and legal research summaries. Manage e-filing, calendaring, and litigation deadlines. Review and organize medical records, bills, and treatment updates in case management software. Communicate with courts, defense counsel, insurance carriers, and related parties. Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls with clients, carriers, and providers as a core part of client communication. Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with firm procedures and applicable rules. Provide guidance, task delegation, and oversight to legal assistants to ensure accuracy and timeliness in case-related tasks. Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Oversee lien updates, process invoices, track expenses, and assist with general case and administrative support. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience. Bachelors degree and/or Paralegal Certificate. Strong client communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage high caseloads and meet deadlines. Independent and proactive problem solver with sound judgment. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred. Prior SmartAdvocate experience preferred. Compensation: $70,000+ Compensation: $70,000 per year
