Your Impact
As a Logistics Specialist you will play a vital role in coordinating and analyzing the organization’s supply chain. Your responsibilities will include transportation, warehousing, monitoring inventory activities to maintain and expedite products as they move through the supply chain. They manage all events associated domestic and international trade compliance by detecting and preventing potential violations with DOT, IMO, IATA, FDA, CBP and other US federal agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Promote a healthy and efficient supply chain
Coordinate and facilitate all facets of the supply chain to ensure prompt and proper movement of incoming and outgoing shipments for all LBB locations as well as 3PLs.
Review of shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
Make special shipping arrangements as necessary.
Track and fix shipping errors for timely execution.
Ensure that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.
Monitor cargo movement processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve shipping, quality, and regulation problems.
Develop processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized while optimizing cost.
Handle logistics and receiving of Returned Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) and ensuring internal and external communication is timely and accurate.
Assist on inventory audits.
Warehouse planning for optimal efficiency.
Subject matter expert on ERP (P21), TMS, MS Office Suite.
Training resource for colleagues in logistics processes.
Communication and Collaboration
Respond to external and internal customer inquiries in a timely and concise manner
Track and communicate expeditiously of any exceptions to related parties concerning shipments, facilities, brokers, clients and compliance
Build and maintain relationships with vendors, federal agencies, shippers, transportation and warehousing service providers
Collaborate with sales, operations, accounting, regulatory and other internal teams
Compliance
Evaluate company’s adherence to import compliance requirements by testing procedures and processes through self-audits and recordkeeping
Manage all events associated domestic and international trade compliance by detecting and preventing potential violations various government agencies.

What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree preferred
1-3 years of related experience
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent customer service and client relationship skills
Strong organization, time management, and decision-making skills
Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in data analysis, visualization, and reporting tools
Technologically adept with experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Chempax) and Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of supply chain processes, challenges, and solutions
Familiarity with logistics regulations, ISO standards, and compliance requirements
