We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a full-stack team responsible for core lending products, including loans, merchant cash advances, and emerging capital solutions. In this role, you will drive the technical vision, scale engineering teams, and ensure seamless, high-quality product experiences for small businesses. You will collaborate across Product, Design, Data Science, and Operations teams to deliver innovative financial products, optimize backend platforms, and accelerate product growth. Leading, mentoring, and growing a full-stack engineering team to deliver high-impact financial products Defining and owning the technical vision and roadmap for lending products and new capital solutions Ensuring seamless product experiences by collaborating with platform and cross-functional teams Driving the development of scalable backend platforms using Python, React, and Scala Partnering with Product, Design, Customer Success, Data Science, Operations, and Legal to align engineering execution with organizational goals Maintaining high software quality standards, code consistency, and team productivity Requirements
2+ years of experience managing a team of 5+ engineers, including hiring, mentoring, and retaining talent Proven experience scaling full-stack product teams responsible for multiple product experiences Strong technical background and hands-on experience in software development with Python, React, and Scala Demonstrated ability to establish a team vision and drive execution in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Design, Go-to-Market, and Customer Success teams Commitment to delivering high-quality software and improving engineering practices Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to thrive in an autonomous, high-ownership culture Benefits
