Size and specify battery systems (backup and load-shifting); model cycles, backup durations, and code-constrained placement. Create permit-ready plan sets: single-line/three-line diagrams, site plans, elevations, labeling, and calculation sheets. Ensure full code and utility compliance (e.g., CEC/NEC Art. 690/705/706; NFPA 855; UL 9540/9540A; California Title 24; local AHJ bulletins). Coordinate PG&E Rule 21 interconnection applications and releases; support inspections and energization. Perform site walks to verify as-builts, roof/structural/electrical conditions, and equipment placement. Collaborate with Sales/Estimating for pre-designs, BOMs, and value engineering; support Construction during install with RFIs and redlines.
