The Data Quality Senior Analyst (Assistant Vice President) - Hybrid helps to ensure data sourced and provisioned by different areas meets all required Data Quality standards. Moderately complex and variable issues are evaluated with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. The Data Quality Sr. Analyst assesses, evaluates, and analyzes data challenges and provides recommendations on their resolution. They collaborate with an array of teams and groups, developing subject matter expertise and knowledge of industry practices and standards. Responsibilities
Partners with Enterprise Chief Data Office to contribute to the development of procedure guidelines and standards addressing Data Quality management. Develop methods to identify data patterns and trends in data sources, perform data quality analytics, and identify data challenges. Contribute to Data Quality resolution strategies and practices. Assist in data improvement initiatives in compliance with Citi Data Governance Policy (CDGP). Assists in the remediation of audit and regulatory feedback on data issues and concerns. Assist in project management activities. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications
5+ years of experience with data quality management, preferably in Banking or Finance industry. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in project management and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Collibra and Data Governance tools is preferred. Proficiency in System Query Language (SQL), knowledge of Tableau, understanding of database structures, data lineage, concept of critical data elements, and regulatory reporting. Anticipates and balances the needs of multiple stakeholders, while monitoring tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes. Communicates effectively verbally and written. Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives. Education
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience. This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.
