Support Specialist
ASC Bel Air is seeking a Support Specialist. At ASC Bel Air, we are dedicated to providing superior outpatient surgical care in state-of-the-art facilities. With a team of highly skilled urological surgeons, nurses, and support staff, we strive to offer the highest level of patient-centered care, ensuring safety, comfort, and successful outcomes for all our patients. Summary The Support Specialist interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff Admits patients and processes patient paperwork Updates patient demographics/information in the system Collects monies due and documents in the billing system Handle funds per office procedure Answer incoming phone calls Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent One year of previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial Bilingual preferred Good communication skills Benefits Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance Paid time off (vacation & sick leave) 401k retirement plan Paid holidays Health savings accounts, healthcare & dependent flexible spending accounts Employee Assistance Program, Employee discount program Voluntary benefits include pet insurance, legal insurance, accident and critical illness insurance, long-term care, elder & childcare, AD&D, auto & home insurance.
