Position Timeframe: June 2026-December 2026 Position Locations: Warren County, TN Wilson, NC Responsibilities
Industrial Engineering co-ops typically: Work on problems of limited scope and contributes on projects or processes while receiving detailed instructions from higher level professionals Establish methods of maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel Conduct cost/inventory/production control and human factors studies to develop and implement plans for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods Assist manufacturing plant/facilities engineers with facility planning and design You will also get to: Apply interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with fellow teammates and achieve common goals Work in a hands-on environment with cross functional teams Utilize project management skills to develop, manage, and control scope, schedule and cost We are looking for students who are: Highly motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision People-centric focus with ability to collaborate with all teammates across the organization Strong initiative, work ethic and levels of enthusiasm Demonstrated technical aptitude in major of study Excellent communication and presentation skills Minimum Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you need To be pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or another applicable major and actively enrolled in an accredited university the semester prior to your start date To be sophomore-senior level standing with a GPA of at least 3.0 Completed course work in Computer Aided Design (CAD)/AutoCAD To be available to work 40 hours weekly in a 6-month minimum co-op assignment No other work experience is required.
