Colonial Chemical, Inc. QMS/ISO Coordinator Position Type: Salary Hours: Monday-Friday 8-5 ET. Reports to: Director of Quality Job Summary: Primary responsibility will be to coordinate activities to ensure the manufacturing facility Quality Management System (QMS) is meeting ISO and other Quality requirements. Requirements: Bachelors Degree, or a minimum high school diploma with 3-5 years of experience in a related field. Good writing and speaking skills, able to communicate experimental results clearly with customers and others with Colonial. Experience with Microsoft Office, Chempax, eChempax and instrument-specific software used in the operation of various Colonial analytical instrumentation. The ability to work on your feet for extended periods on time in the laboratory and capable of lifting objects no more than 25 pounds in weight. Key responsibilities and accountabilities but not limited to: Works to ensure process and procedures are controlled, accurately reflect the current process and meet expectations as defined by Colonial Chemical and ISO policy Responsible for executing and documenting internal ISO audits Responsible for executing and documenting external audits, customer and vendor related. Develops, evaluates, revises, and implements ISO documentation with other departments within Colonial Chemical. Review all ISO SOPs yearly to ensure no changes are needed within each department. Ensure yearly training/review is performed on ISO 9001 and 22716 Report out on ISO internal and external audit findings. Review the corrective action/preventative actions (CAPA). Report out on Customer and Vendor audit findings. Review the corrective action/preventative actions (CAPA). Perform calibration and schedule PM services within the Quality Lab that are not performed by Quality Control. Performs routine retain upkeep per ISO control of records. Stays abreast of new quality standards of interest and pursues registration when/where appropriate. Other duties as assigned.
