Electrical Maintenance Line Coverage Technician
Mars Wrigley Site: CLV Site- Cleveland, TN Shift: 12 Hour Fixed Night Shift *Candidates must be available to work a rotating 12-hour shift following a 3 nights on 3 nights off schedule. Additional shift rotation details will be provided in the interview process.* Job Purpose
We're looking for an Electrical Line Coverage Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for multiple areas of the factory which will consist primarily of troubleshooting and repairing breakdowns and breakdown assessments. What are we looking for?
High Level of Electric Aptitude, Troubleshooting high speed complex equipment, Knowledge of Packaging and Process Equipment. What will be your key responsibilities?
Capable of troubleshooting, repairing and overhauling equipment within close tolerances. Perform routine Electrical and Mechanical problem-solving on process & packaging equipment. Perform preventative maintenance (PM's) on process & packaging equipment with minimal guidance. Support Operations in equipment setup, changeover and training of operators in autonomous maintenance (AM) activities. Document work orders (WO)/preventative maintenance (PM's) using computerized maintenance management system (SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance). Effectively communicate with machine operators, peers, supervisors and all levels of management on a daily basis. Provide enthusiastic support where needed and complete other duties as assigned by Team Leader. Demonstrate engagement in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Theory and Concepts through participation in Pillar Teams, training fellow Mechanics/Operators in autonomous (AM) activities and conducting Breakdown Analysis. Understand and adhere to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures, confined space procedures and all other plant safety/good manufacturing practices (GMP) requirements related to supporting machinery uptime. Possess essential personal tools needed to support mechanical ability. Completing required paperwork related to safety, quality, and contractor management. Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent Technical Degree/Trade Certification OR 2+ years work experience related to industrial maintenance Possess a fundamental understanding of Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic Schematics and/or Mechanical Drawings in order to solve problems with equipment Willingness to develop required technical skills Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in a technical discipline, preferably in Industrial Maintenance/Technology Technical/ Trade Certification in: Welding, Advanced Machinist Skills, fabrication, and blueprint interpretation Possess an advanced understanding of AC/DC Electrical (up to 480VAC 3 Phase), Hydraulic and Pneumatic Schematics and Mechanical Drawings in order to solve problems Possess PLC/Instrumentation troubleshooting skills Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.). Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping. Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment. Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift). Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support production needs and to conduct multi-task work in a very fast paced work environment. What can you expect from Mars?
